What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a regulated healthcare profession focused on restoring movement and function when you're affected by injury, illness or activity-related strain. At Warrior, our physiotherapists combine hands-on treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and practical advice. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we look at the root cause and build a structured plan with measurable milestones so you get lasting results, not just short-term relief.

Who We Help

From marathon runners to weekend footballers and gym regulars, our physiotherapists help you recover from sports injuries, return to training safely and prevent recurrence. We assess movement patterns, treat the root cause, and build personalised rehab plans so you can perform at your best.

Athletes and active people

Desk professionals when pain limits activity or training

Long hours at a desk leave their mark. If neck stiffness, back pain or shoulder strain is starting to limit your workouts, your sleep, or nags through the day, physiotherapy gives you a structured plan: hands-on relief, a progressive exercise programme to rebuild what tightens up, and practical ergonomic guidance to stop the cycle.

Why We Choose Warrior

Elite sports experience

Our physiotherapy team works with elite sports performers, bringing that level of assessment, planning and accountability to every patient.

Focused on identifying the causes of injury

We look beyond the symptom to find what is driving it, so the work in clinic is targeted on preventing the issue from coming back.

Unique assessment equipment

We use Vald Dynamometers and ForceDecks to objectively measure strength, asymmetry and return-to-sport readiness, not just clinical impressions.

Open Gym programme

Patients can extend their rehab beyond the treatment room with our Open Gym programme, supervised when needed, autonomous when ready.

What to expect at your first session

Your first appointment is an hour long and designed to give you a clear picture of what's going on, not just temporary relief.

We start with a detailed conversation about your symptoms, lifestyle, work, sport and medical history. Your physiotherapist then carries out a physical assessment, looking at how you move, where you're restricted, and how your body compensates.

Once we understand the picture, we explain what we've found in plain language and agree a treatment plan with you. Most first sessions include hands-on treatment and a set of tailored exercises to start straight away, along with practical advice to take home.

Bring comfortable, loose clothing or the kit you usually train in. Most people leave their first session feeling clearer, more confident, and with a concrete plan for recovery.

Client Reviews

"Great place to go and highly recommend Wendy for that continuous body maintenance."

"Wendy (soft tissue consultant) is phenomenal. She is so hands on, I trust her completely — there is no way I would have run the London marathon or climbed Mont Blanc without her, I could not recommend her more."

Emily Kryptonite

★★★★★ Google review

"Wendy is phenomenal in her field. She has worked wonders on my hip, ankle and foot and I now have her working on my shoulders and back. She is very quickly putting me back together in the right order. Wendy has incredibly strong hands that can relax the most stubborn knotted muscles. The acupuncture that she performs is spot on and my hip movement has nearly returned to normal. Finally, Wendy is very kind and such a lovely person to chat with, I look forward to our sessions immensely."
