Divya began her physiotherapy career in 2021 at a leading Sports and Injury Clinic in India,
where she designed tailored rehabilitation and performance programs for long-distance
runners, footballers, cricketers, and badminton players. She also supported athletes in the
post-marathon recovery zone -an experience that strengthened her understanding of
endurance sport demands.

Driven by a passion for sports performance, Divya went on to complete her MSc in Sports
Science from Loughborough University, UK. During this time, she also worked behind the
scenes at major sporting events, including the Paralympics 2024, Commonwealth Youth
Games 2023, and several LEAP events, gaining a unique perspective on athlete care and
event operations.

Since moving to London, Divya has spent nearly two years treating patients in a busy East London
clinic. She works extensively with office workers experiencing musculoskeletal injuries and
has a particular interest in helping people break out of sedentary habits through long-term,
sustainable solutions. Her clinical interests include working with post-injury runners training
for marathons, as well as treating swimmers, rugby players, footballers, badminton players,
squash athletes, and tennis players.

Her broad sporting background helps her connect with athletes of all levels and offer
practical, effective guidance for injury prevention, management, and recovery.
Outside the clinic, Divya enjoys watching sports, exploring new cuisines and places, and
expressing her creativity through drawing and painting. She’s always happy to chat about any sport-especially cricket.
